i was wonder how long it take after medical submitted for passport request.
my parents pass medical in start of september, now 6 months no update.
how long it took for others? thank you.

I also sponsored parents. We have been waiting for about 5 months, and no response yet.
Hopefully we hear something soon!!

No I haven't emailed them but I did contact my MP to check the status. They told me "all was going fine - no concerns with the file". I really hope to hear something soon. Its been a long 8 months

Thank you - I did send them an email 3 weeks ago. They replied saying it is still within the normal processing time and they wont give specific update unless 12 months have passed. I don't know how busy the Colombo visa office is but I thought London was the busiest and there are applicants from that visa office receiving PPR already.
