Yup my confusion is i am planning travel for a month with family and not sure if delaying oath will lead to how much more delay in overall process
i already waited so long and keep on pushing my travel for 6 months now , its painful.
I have been a silent reader and wanted to share my timeline to help everyone waiting:
Citizenship Application: Family (2)
Received: January 11, 2018
AOR: Feb 23, 2018
IP: April 5, 2018
FP: August 9, 2018 Test Invite:Today Feb 5, 2019

Oath Letter:
Oath Ceremony:
Hoping a praying the process will be completed in fast pace.
Took test yesterday at Scarborough office today my status changed to DECISION MADE. They told us that they don't have timeline for us at when oath will be.
They (officer) will have copies of all the documents you have sent with the application and verify with originals if you have submitted the above ones please take it else it's not mandatory , completely optional and there is no harm in carrying if you can

Yepp its been 13 months for me too... NO INVITE YET!!!! Tried contacting IRCC multiple times... NO FP request for me..... (guess that explains my app as ROUTINE)... Even MP got the answer that everything is OK with my file... i can expect a test invite anytime now... ( this has been the case since SEPT 2018).... No point in following up with IRCC....
Thought NON ROUTINE APPS take more time to process, but here i have seen others getting FP Req and getting processed faster....
Lot of people who applied later have finished the process.. specially from places like Calgary/Edmonton/ Montreal etc.....
I have been waiting for more than 15 months. My neighbor applied after me and got it in 4.5 months including finger prints, similar amount of travel, demographics, citizenship, family size and same processing office etc etc. So i am comparing apples to apples here. And no one is answering at CIC why it took him 4.5 months and even after 15 months i have no test invite as well.
