Dears,

After I got AoR, how can I link my application to ECAS or CIC portal to track my application process? Are they both same websites or different?

Btw, I already have an account on CIC portal, also have UCI from my TRV. Could I use the same account to combine them to see all my applications together through the same portal?
Any ideas ?

I got the reply of my inquiry (web-form); NDVO
Please be advised your file is pending background checks. At present no action is required on your part. Once the checks are complete, our office will contact you with further instructions.
Guys, how long does it take for background checks?
3 to 4 months depending on your travel history. Mine took 3 months. Starting 28 September 2018, then stop early January when I asked them, they said you application is in queue for a review, then on 28 January 2019 I got Instructions for Medical. So basically 4 months.

Did you get Landing Fee request in between AOR and MR? Just curious since I applied in Oct-2018 and paid the landing fee upfront. I got my UCI in Dec-2018 and since then waiting for medical request.

Thanks.
The Landing Fee request was paid upfront even before AOR and MR

Guys ,Just sharing my thoughts with you ...
Do you think that the DM can be later than 12 months of the MEP
as I didn't see any case with a second Medical request before !

When first immigrating to the country, what city or state is best to live in first for a family with small children?

There is new law passed today in quebec which says all csq unprocessed files will be rejected .

Quebec ends bill no. 9 to "any application [for immigration] made ... under the Regular Skilled Worker Program prior to August 2, 2018". The immigration department had accumulated more than 18,000 untreated cases in years.

Quebec will therefore reimburse the fees paid by the approximately 18,000 immigration applicants for those for whom no selection decision was made.

what is selection decision, it means CSQ, or even someone already got the CSQ and waiting for federal stage. That's why processing time is longer and longer since the end of 2018.

The new bill still needs to be voted on. It is not yet effective

But CAQ holds majority at national assembly. we have to wait forever until this decision made. csq holders will be safe or it effects only the applicants waiting for csq?
