Glad to hear your update. Congratulation. I landed on 22nd Jan at Etobicoke but still not able to map my application. Could you please know after how many days you were able to map your application.

It took a couple of attempts, you have to enter all details exactly as in passport. I was able to link online application in a week or so after I did the landing at Etobicoke.

I just kept trying, you have to enter everything exactly as per the details on your COPR, and it is case sensitive it looks like. Check how they have spelled it on COPR. Good luck.

check that birthplace section specifically do remember to write full name for example they wrote PUN INDIA in my copr but at the time of linking my application i need to write PUNJAB INDIA

No update about PR card yet.
How do you know if PR card has been approved? Is it displayed on My CIC account? where to look for it?

It shows on My Cic account. Usually you get email notification when there is update if you link the application to your account

Hi all !

Landed: 19 December 2018.
Ghost update: 26 January 2019.
Approved: 29 January 2019.

I would like to share my experience. We are a family of 4 persons ( Father, Mother and 2 kids)
We all go through the updates mentioned above except my son. He got the Ghost update on 26 January 2019 but the approval on 30 January 2019. I thought they will ask for photo resubmission for him. But finally he got it! So keep in mind after ghost update they will never ask for phot resubmission at all. Good luck all.

Hey guys, I know I might me ahead of myself but just wanted to ask and this has been asked multiple times but seen different responses. Is it ok to get your friend to courier the PR cards to India if I go ahead with a soft landing?

Hi guys,

I landed on 20 Dec @Peace Arch. I have linked my PR card application to my CIC account and the status is submitted. But my date of application is shown as 31 Dec. Is this normal? Are people's date of application different than their date of landing? Should I consider 45 days from my date of application or date of landing? Thanks!
