I got pre arrival on 17th Nov and DM on 24th Dec. that’s the longest you can expect to wait otherwise anytime around 1-2 weeks. Rest all depends on visa office.

And when you get DM do they inform you that wether your file has been approved or not?

once the sponsor approval is done in Canada, most likely they send the files to pa's country, as visa officers are well aware of all rituals and situations in regards to country specific requirements to determine the eligibility and genuineness of relationship and other reasons (that's what someone told me) . so they sent for further processing to pa's visa office. it is not mandatory, you will get an interview. so it depends on officer, if he think relationship is not genuine they will schedule an interview, otherwise not.

DM status changed on ECAS only without any additional information and maybe you can speak with agents to know outcome if there’s delay in receiving any communication or via webform reply. DM can come before PPR ( And PPR mostly in a week from LVO). Sometime you can get direct PPR before status changed to DM. All assumptions varies from LVO to LVO.

Hi everyone! I am June applicant. I am thinking to make a little changes in my name on passport. . In my educational certificates my Sir name is not mentioned, but in my passport it’s there. since I am married now n my husband doesn’t have sir name either, I am thinking to work on removing sir name from my passport so tht my problem is solved for once n forever . Otherwise I always have to carry additional certificates n give explainations..
Will it effect my process n how to go about adding it in my application if I succeed in doing so. Your valuable input is much appreciated

It is up to you. But not a big problem rather you are creating problem. Say if you leave as it is VISA will be issued right? If they ask then explain. Rest you can ask some experts who have dealt with such issues.Surname can be added after marriage too. If your hubby tries to remove surname that will likely be a delay or a /problem. Ask some agents in India, tell them you will buy air tickets from them. Not clear who is in canada and so on

Could be 2 reasons: 1>> MOST LIKELY very common reason:---They changed mind found more good proofs and interview is cancelled = WAIVED next is BGC >>PPR
very rare ...2>> Interviewing Officer gone on sickness leave some 1 else will be assigned 4this job with new dates

It means they don't need an interview bcz in final review by the analyst is positive or double check for cancellation and rescheduling of interview as well, if any. But hope for the best good luck

Congrats, by lvo you mean to say london visa office? So it means your file was in london visa office not new delhi visa office (nvdo)?

Nothing to worry.
Different country passport holders will be asked to move to a Kiosky Machine. Where we have to fill in certain details and get our photo clicked by the machine. You will get a printed declaration paper. Take that paper n follow the line. Then there will be an officer who will check the paper. Afterthat u need to go to New immigration department ( its near by to that)
Stand in a queue. When ur turn comes move towards an officer. Dubmit ur COPR letter & passport.
Questions from them depends on their mood. I wasn’t asked anything except about the address. He asked me to sign both copies Of COPR letter & then returned my copy n passport.
Thats it. Go collect ur baggage n go to exit. U will meet ur loved one there
