I've noticed the same pattern in October AOR, mostly Nigerian and CEC inland getting it quickly

another person with Nov AOR got PPR today. hopefully we get to see much higher frequency of this as we approach the 3 month mark for some of the nov applicants.

A month is not automatically 30 days. Also, if you check your AOR, you'll see that you got 4 months in your bar when just a simple calculation would show that you still had longer than 4 months to get to the 6 months mark. We all got 4 months in our bars once the time left was less than 5 months. So if someone's AOR was 14th November, by 7th January, it would already show 4 months. Once it's exactly four months or less (i.e. eg 15th January), the bar starts counting by weeks. You are not counting down to completion of your application. You are counting down to 6months post AOR which in this case would be 14th May. Still, you are right. It doesn't really matter. I'm sure you would rather have your PPR before the countdown expires.

I submitted my AOR on Nov 18th. Got medical passed update on 21st Dec. No update after that !!

That's not true. My cousins got theirs in less than 2 months with enough travel history. I on the other hand have crossed 78 days and no PPR, with travel history. There's no real pattern.

When was that? A couple friend of mine FSW Inland got their PPR in Dec 2017 in 45 days.
