I had my citizenship test at Scarborough on December 11th,, last week I received my oath ceremony ,, it’s on 22nd January,, it’s weird that my ceremony location is at Mississauga location

The officer that did my interview said the ceremony could be anywhere. I guess it's where they can fit you in.

Might be possible,, so according to my timeline I got oath ceremony after 28 days of my citizenship test

That's pretty quick. Hope mine comes that quickly. I'm so impatient now!!

I did my test nov 7 at Scarborough, still no DM and no oath invitation, I,am an October 2017 applicant

when is your application submission date ??

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 22, 2018.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 20, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on May 10, 2018.
4. We sent you a notice on November 19, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on December 10, 2018 at 11:45 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
5. We sent you a notice on January 7, 2019 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on January 22, 2019 at 3:30 PM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Hopefully! My PR card expires in early March and I may have some work related travel after that so I'd love to have my passport by then.

Hello Members,
Can anyone advise how they prioritize Oath invitation? Is it based on the Application date or Test/Interview Date?

I am April 2018 Applicant & Test Interview Cleared in October 2018 ( Decision Made – October 2018). Still waiting for oath invitation. Need to travel soon but my PR card already expired Nov 2018.

I am really stressed !! Can anyone advise please?? When can I expect Oath ?
