NY Visa center has terrible reviews and cases of passports getting lost so probably better to stick with Ottawa!. Unless you drop off and pick up I think
I know right, we thought Montreal was bad but NY may take the cake . Didn't want people to go through more trouble by changing to NY after po box headaches in Ottawa. Folks just go through their Google reviews

My montreal family is lucky for me I think! They found the package!
Long story short: Because UPS couldn't ship to PO Box, they returned it to sender, and in the return label they didnt add my apartment number, they delivered it to another apt (the driver took the first 3 digits of my phone number to be the apartment number and delivered it to an unoccupied apt- unbelievable!!).
Freak case! Anyway now I am paranoid about my PPs and it will keep me anxious till I send it and get it back again! I am thinking if I should ask for the USA VO - New York and get COPR from there?
I'm sorry about the UPS confusion. I would avoid sending to the PO box address when you re-send them.
Also, make sure you check the signature required option while creating the label, i felt more assured when i knew that someone from CIC signed the package.
@ caveman striking bars. I am holding myself from not getting too excited about Montreal. We would watch next week to see. Six is an impressive number for Montreal especially because we are not sure how many more they must have approved that we don't know about. But for Montreal that used to do 2/3 in a week, 6 in a day is definitely record breaking. Fingers crossed! I am july 24th AOR and still have my hopes set to End of Feb/March. If it comes earlier, it would be a pleasant surprise
@Adeife23 Only one person from July has updated the excel sheet for PPR. I think most people who got PPR are from WA group. Could you please ask everyone to update the excel sheet.
Also, I do see some June folks still waiting as per the excel sheet. Although, most are inland and Montreal is notorious for slow processing on inland guys. There are 2 cases maybe who are outland. Are these folks still active on Whatsapp. If yes, does anyone know what was their status per GCMS notes etc.
No that is not the case. Sweet spot for Montreal is around 5.5 months from AOR date. If you see most PPRs were for 3/4 July .. guess because of holidays and then there was one for 12 July which is more like it. Given that track record you could have something from 10 Jan to 15 Jan.

Thanks. I hope so and also hope yours arrives soon. Only thing is my file was transferred end of August to montreal after initial r10 check early August.
Not sure if this complicates things. May be if other people from July who got PPRs could post their timeline on when their files were transferred to Montreal and when their Eligibility test was done we can validate.
So, request people who have PPR and ordered GCMS notes kindly post on thread when their files moved to Montreal and when Eligibility test was done.
And you can ask the same on WA group if you are there.
