Hi Folks,
Need your opinion.
If we look at the pattern so far application those were submitted in May were transferred to NDVO fairly quicker as compare to apps submitted from Mid June and July onwards. Most of July apps transferred to NDVO in December. Now as we all know for May applicants NDVO took 6-8 months to give decision. Does that mean for July apps, which were transferred in Dec NDVO will take another 6-8 months to give results?

Anybody got ppr after holidays? Are they back to work? I got decision made on 11th December and still waiting for the PPR.

You will get next week for sure. Actual work will start from Monday. Everyone is getting back to their routine.

No, file transfer to Delhi means now background check will start plus they will review everything.

NO it does not have to be an interview and majority cases are transferred and they get PPR from NDVO. Only few less comlicated cases are kept here, BUT AGAIN some of those are further sent to NDVO if a review or interview is required. 2nd scenario may end up taking little more time rather than direct transfer to NDVO. Also dont forget files are checked till 11th hour. AN interview can happen at the last stage if they forgot something or made a mistake.

About 4-6 months on average

once the sponsor approval is done in Canada, most likely they send the files to pa's country, as visa officers are well aware of all rituals and situations in regards to country specific requirements to determine the eligibility and genuineness of relationship and other reasons (that's what someone told me) . so they sent for further processing to pa's visa office. it is not mandatory, you will get an interview. so it depends on officer, if he think relationship is not genuine they will schedule an interview, otherwise not.
