Just wanted to share my timeline and get some insight -

Application: FSW - Outland
AOR: 14 Sep 2018
MEP: 12 Oct 2018

I have not heard from CIC at all since then.

My BG Check status :
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

I did email CIC once through CSE and they informed me that my file is in Case Processing Center in Ottawa.

I understand that the average processing time is 6 months but it has had no update since MEP on 12th Oct so rather concerned.

Is anyone else facing a similar timeline?

Also same no update at all since MEP.

But i don''t understand because in my GCMS note the ASSIGNMENT due date was friday 21 december, but i didn't received any update or ghost date..
Really frustrating

Meanwhile I'm counting down...now 77 more days to reach 6months....

MEP: 27th Oct.
No additional document required: 27th Oct.

Me. AOR 6th Sep, in November i contacted CIC through CSE and was told my file in Ottawa. My background same as you..and yes i am worried same as you!
