My AOR is September 18th and MEP was October 14th. I haven't heard from them since then. I called CIC recently and they told me that my eligibility has been cleared and they are waiting for background check to start.

The lady who spoke to me was very respectful and told me that file looks good and it's getting processed in Ottawa.

AOR - Sep 02,
Mep - Sep 25,
Ip1 - Sept 26 & no updates ever since.
We are reviewing eligibility requirements. It's making me nervous.

Mine is also same for inland man. I haven't called cic yet.

Looks like I am not the only one then. Also, I believe most of us who haven't heard have their files in Ottawa.

Hopefully we hear back soon! Or rather.. Let them take their own sweet time to get back as long as its good news!

Just wanted to share my timeline and get some insight -

Application: FSW - Outland
AOR: 14 Sep 2018
MEP: 12 Oct 2018

I have not heard from CIC at all since then.

My BG Check status :
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

I did email CIC once through CSE and they informed me that my file is in Case Processing Center in Ottawa.

I understand that the average processing time is 6 months but it has had no update since MEP on 12th Oct so rather concerned.

Is anyone else facing a similar timeline?

I applied earlier in September and BG still in IP1, haven't heard any update after MEP. Assume its going to take 6 months at least, so don't worry, still plenty of time and people with the same status.

I'm not too sure about that. I have called them on October 25 and they said as my file is in Sydney CIO. May be it was transferred to Ottawa after that...

Whoever knows the answer to your question please can you please tell me if the PR EMAIL comes only to the principal aplicant or principal aplicant+dependants?
The email regarding the progression bar came to both of us,me(principal aplicant) and my husband(dependant)

To the best of my knowledge, I think it's only to the principal applicant. I haven't received PPR yet, so I am just telling based on what I read in this forum.

Primary applicant only. However, keep checking all your email accounts. I have heard the cases where dependents got the PPR mail.
