ecas will not show bgc, bgc has no timelines like when they will start. they can start bgc anytime bcz 3rd party conducts bgc. so it can start at any stage

Yeah but i have been told that untill a line on ecas does not show that we started processing ....
Then AOR2 is missing and ndvo still nit working in our file. Its all confusing.

We received the medical request last night ! And the sponsor statut on ECAS has changed to decision made (but no letter yet) We are very happy !

We recieved medical request on dec. 13th and he did his medical checkup yesterday on dec.17
My lawyer told me today that the immigration is looking now for a VO in Paris to send the file... so if you get any news keep me in touch

Here's my case:
I'm sponsoring my husband who lives in Paris

1. received your application on July 3, 2018.
2. We started processing your application on October 10, 2018.
3. Medical resquest on December 13, 2018.
4. ""My husband did his medical test on December 17, 2018.""
5. We sent you correspondence on December 17, 2018 (decision made: I'm eligible, (i tought it was done from the first month))

*I called my lawyer today and he just told me that they're now looking for a VO in Paris to send them the file and that we gonna recieve the forms for CSQ (Certificat de sélection du Québec, since I live in Montréal) soon
But what made me angry is that he told me that it could take 10 months from now to get the decision, which I dont really believe because he's always telling me false information-_-

Anyways, hope it will go fast because my first submission was on january not even july but had the app back i dont know why, i actually regret that i used a lawyer, I could just do it myself...

I applied on June 11, his medical was done on Sept 24, and his file was transferred to Mississauga on August 29. Since then no response from cic! My husband lives in Australia on work visa but he's a Bangladeshi citizen, maybe that's why it's causing so long I don't know. But his background process hasn't even started yet.

Aha but it shouldn’t be a problem from his nationality .. when you say transferred to mississauga do u mean the visa office or processing center
And i think you should give them a call CIC

File transferred on 4th dec to ndvo

I got two letters:
1. Saying that my application will be moved to NDVO
2. Confirmation that my application has been forwarded to NDVO

I was confused to the wording of the two letters. I thought the first one was them just informing me that they will be sending my application, and the second one meant that they have now sent it (but it hasn't arrived in NDVO yet). But someone else said that the second one means that it has arrived in Dehli. I wish they would use clearer language. Anyone else have similar letters?

Yes same letters i got and later check your online status it will say we started processing your application ( in the visa office)

Second letter is urs AOR2 .they hve received the application nd started processing....

After my sponsorship applicarion was approved from Sydney Nova Scotia, they transferred my husband's file to Mississauga for further processing, I was surprised to why they didn't transfer to his local VO, I called cic couple of times, they said Mississauga will do further processing then they'll transfer his file to his visa office in Australia. I am not sure how it works. I have seen a lot of applications were processed in Mississauga but cic told me there is no way my husband's application will be finalized in Mississauga. I'm confused and worried and frustrated, I thought I'd be able to spend the holidays with him here but cic has no updates on his file

That is frustrating four months is along time.. ahh that’s too bad every application is processed differently.. now god knows how long my husband’s application will stay at LA visa office- background check hasn't been in process either
