I recieved my passport dispatched email .. i will be collecting my passport tomorrow .. i am going to book tickets to be with my husband .. i wish everyone gets to be with their partners soon i am so thankful to this page

Any 1 has any fresh idea why file is stuck at medical passed>>FULL HAND BRAKE >> Phoned , she said PA's eligibility is being checked! How long this thing will take AND PA's eligibility rt here in Canada ? why no file transfer yet? Just wonder if more members are in similar situations. Thanks

Mine's also like that. Can't say why but stuck after medical passed. Don't know how long I have to wait.

Hi Singleman, I passed my medical on Aug 30th and after 2 months 8 days my file transferred to NDVO on November 8th, there is no uni-formal steps they follow.

Mine's also like that. Can't say why but stuck after medical passed. Don't know how long I have to wait.

Not too bad it is still a moved file as compared to ours. Ours is stuck in Sydney. I think next they will start BGC. So keep checking GCkeys. Give it another 2 months to be on the patience side. thanks

Just wondering, once you get PPR, do they update status on GC key account?

I don't think so. I think it will change to Approved once passport is stamped and sent back.

I am pretty sure within a week or 2 Be ready for celebrations One case in South after this pre Arr.. India took a month as I can remember. So my advice is DO NOT book a ticket unless you have a stamped PPT in hand all of you guys! Unforeseen situations can happen anytime. But may try to hunt for a cheaper 1 way for your spouse from various websites. In the past I used the following ,try all:-

I received pre-arrival on the same day as you. PA is in India. No updates since then
Usually Tuesday mornings we get an update from NDVO. I also understand NDVO is busy with student applications
Wait till Jan (another 20 days). Hopefully we'll get good news in the new year

My guess this tuesday = no , then jumps to Thursdays as we can see a MTC notice on GCKEYS website in orange color . Sadly no Tuesdays Notice appeared this time 2-3 days ahead But U never know! how they work these are only good guesses we live with
