Right, but the basic premise was "If landing together" it should be deemed as a single application. I understand if landing separately the application timelines are different. We did talk to CIC agent and they can see both of our applications together, although processed separately. Few agents deny to give status for both applications, few did give status on applications. They cleared stated that they can see the applications together.

Yes this is what I was referring to, we should be able to do something about it. There are few immigration attorneys who have already raised these questions and requested for more smoother transparent process. The Main objective of those request was "Inconvenience to families"

after all this crap guys I have learnt one thing... just relax nothin will change patience is virtue hehehe

Okay point me out to those specifics, I will try to understand it. That why photos are accepted at COPR and rejected at PR card application and that too after 50+ days of processing. If thats written in print, I would surely like to go through it. Its quite absurd that a family gets pics at same place and half of bunch are accepted other half are rejected. We surely get pissed off and it fizzles out the moment we get the cards. what about others who go through the grill, at least efforts should be directed to smoothen out the process.

Things will change, it has changed in the past and it will change now too. It depends on what efforts we are taking towards that change. If you see CIC has smoothen majority of the processes. Express entry is a very smooth process, so why can't new PR cards can be?

Prtd is pain in you know wat... so u download a form... fill it out ... its on the website.. and send out sin insurance card or dl if possible.. anythin which shows u have established residnce etc .. it cannot be done online ... so u need to go and submit along with passport

I called IRCC last week and they said it's fine with photo.
No photo request
Not everyone will get photo requests.
