Im an october 17th applicant. I got pre arrival on 28th july and since then no update. Then i inquires on webform about my application status and cic replied on 4th october that it awaits review from immigration officer. My wife sent them an email seperately regarding the status and today they replied that application awaits criminality and security review.
Can anyone help me with this ? At what stage do you think the application is at?

Hi I have a question about the checklist. In section 7e it says provide maximum of 20 photos AND atleast two of the following four options:

1. Important documents for you and your spouse showing that you are recognized as each other's spouse (such as employment or insurance benefit)

2. Documentary evidence of financial support between you and your spouse, and/or shared expenses

3. Other proof that your relationship is recognized by your friends and/or family

4. Proof of past cohabitation, if you are not currently living together but did at one point in the past


I can only think of number 3 as I can provide Facebook posts of friends commenting on our wedding pictures. Number 2 and 4 do not apply at all since my soon-to-be-wife and I have not lived together and therefore I have not provided for her financially before our marriage. Number 1 I'm confused about, can I use nikkah nama etc as proof showing we are recognized as each others spouse?

for number 1, do you have a job that gives you benefits like health insurance or anything else? you can put your wife as your beneficiary in those and as your spouse for health benefits etc. but you said soon to be wife, are you getting married before applying?

That's weird that it took so long. Anyway, pre-arrival is a good thing so probably just awaiting final review.
If your medical is expiring soon you should email them and either ask for new medical forms or an extension.
Have you applied case notes ?? If not, probably a good idea to order (GCMS, electronic notes). It takes a month but get them anyway.
Once 12 months pass, send them and/or send the minister's office an email.

Only one payment is made for CCB, into the account of any parent. (I'd prefer child's mother's account). You have to provide CRA with the account information so they can deposit it into that.
You can apply as soon as possible (maybe even online), and make sure u also apply for SIN# of the child, if not already done so.

Can any one tell me validity of police clearance certificates I am in situation where after wining appeal they asked me updated forms and police reports .after wining appeal I did my police report upfront and they asked me after 2 and half months later and now I need some time to prepare other documents some one told me police clearance has to be issued less than 3 months what should I do can I submit my police clearance now before 3 months over and send them other documents before 60 days they gave me which will be up on 5th December any advice plz FBI RCMP and Pakistani Report ?
