Hi everyone!

My application was received on july 9- Sydney Nova scotia. Its now october 8th & i havent received anything ( not even AOR). Every time i call them they say that the delay is due to the new opening. Any suggestions?

Application received on Jun 19th. Still waiting for AOR 1.. l

This has been our progress during these 4 months:

App received: June 8th
Aor1: July 20th (Missisauga)
SA: July 24th
Medical request: July 24
Medical done: July 30th
Medical passed: Aug 06th

Complete silence since medical approval.
My husband called 7 weeks ago and the agent said they're processing our application and that at some point we'll receive an email with more information. They didn't confirm if our application is going to Mexico or will stay in Missisauga.
We should receive our notes in 12 days.

Does my husband need to give biometrics ? At what stage they'll request for biometrics? Right now he is at medical passed stage, the background check hasn't been started yet. From cic website I do see Bangladeshi citizens need to provide biometrics, but I haven't seen anyone who got DM already mentioned anything about biometrics. Can anyone olplease let me know at what stage they'll ask for biometrics?
After medical passed how long do they take to start background check?

Use the passport information and I think it will work because I went through same thing and tried over two weeks to link the application! Once I used the passport info it worked

Try online tool with sponsor’s UCI
Moreover u can always check ur status on calling cic number select application status then just follow steps from there

PA Status on ECAS changed to "Decision Made" today but there is no change on MyCIC account it is still showing Background Check in progress.
Does anyone know how long it takes for the PPR email after this? and for COPR after the passport has been sent.

I will really appreciate your feedback on this.

Its upto ircc no one can tell you when ircc gonna ask you for more info or docs. Its random also bgc is also random.. sometimes they start it very early sometimes it takes months.. so as you are a june applicant just wait until you hear anything from ircc since it's a 12 months wait. God speed

Its upto ircc no one can tell you when ircc gonna ask you for more info or docs. Its random also bgc is also random.. sometimes they start it very early sometimes it takes months.. so as you are a june applicant just wait until you hear anything from ircc since it's a 12 months wait. God speed

My BCG started 3 days after they started processing my application but I didn't get medical request yet. There are ppl around my time that already received medical request but no BGC yet... all stages are quite random. There are stages to be followed but I believe that there is not an order they follow to process an application.

Don't forget to count the Sponsor when you are typing how many ppl are included in your application. If you don't have dependents, it should be 2 (sponsor+PA)

no update since then.. called twice via hangout IRCC number 1-613-944-4000 & agent told me to wait .. agent said maybe VO is loaded with huge files. I am having sleepless nights but always praying that VO would have a heart to update apps like mine. i have read somewhere that there are some people with apps dated jun 29 & jul 6 who received AORs too but didnt get SA - MR up to this time. its very hard to contact IRCC & stressful to wait 40 days for SA to arrive. am always praying for everyone here. may the force be with us. God bless.
