I think its different for everyone. This is probably the Sponsor Approval decision made. I cannot see anything on my ECAS, but yesterday i received my SA email.

Hi all

I submitted the PR application for my spouse on Aug 3rd 2018. My spouse is a Vietnamese national.

I paid all the fees upfront but I was’nt aware about the biometric fee.

I got an email yesterday from IRCC to pay the biometrics fee online (which i did) and then submit the payment details via IRCC webform. The webform does not really have any specific segment for selecting biometric fee so i selected Spouse PR Outland and attached the reciept while submitting.

Anyone with experience in doing this are welcome to share their thoughts.

IRCC responded to the web form yesterday as following:

"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We can confirm the reception of the documents.

If further information is needed, a request may be sent by the responsible office."

On another note, my wife took her chances and also applied for a TRV, a.k.a Visit Visa and was rejected.

This is going to be a long winter!

The email came from CPC-M but on the content of the attachment there I can see email: MANILIMMIGRATION.

Hi. Anyone in my situation has the same trouble. So, just today cic emailed my husband saying that they did not receive the im5532 which is the relationship information and sposorship evaluation. So they asked us to email it to them. But how come that has happened! good thing I copied every single form that we have submitted and I 100% sure that we gave them everythinh they needed. I am so worried now. I cant imagine why they have approved me as a sponsor without this form. Maybe they misplaced it somehow. I hope this wont cause any delays.

We are in the same situation. I know, this is not reasonable. It is also nearly impossible to reach them on the phone. I will remember about this at the next elections.
