I received a ghost update yesterday, so I hope to get PPR today.

Could you tell me at what time (Eastern Time) you received the PPR email yesterday?

IP2 started as soon as my medicals were passed and remained that way for the next 4 months so I never took that as a sign for anything for my application.

For us only medical passed and background check is with same status, we will notify when we start your background check. AOR : 31st May,
no changes since after Medicals.

my AOR is May 25th, medical passed June 5th.

I am still waiting for an update, tried calling the number too as I have heard many agents do tell if you have passed the eligibility or not. unfortunately, the agent I got was unable to confirm that. This is my second attempt and the last time I requested GCMS notes, it took more than 4 months .

I personally believe there is no point of requesting for the third time . They are just so slow in processing everything!

I just received a second ghost update. A day after the one I received yesterday. I hope the PPR is around the corner..

AOR - 10th May
IP2 - 18th May
ADR - 26th July (baby birth certificate)
MEP - 30th July
Ghost update- 20th September
Second Ghost Update - 21st September
PPR - 21st September

Got a ghost update yesterday (09/24) and today (09/25) a second one.

My timeline is similar to yours.

I guess we’ll see today if there is a pattern here!

For anyone interested, I called yesterday to know what the first ghost update was about and got told that criminality was passed, security was in progress and eligibility still recommend passed.

Today, I just called to know what the second ghost update was about and the agent told me that everything was passed (eligibility, security etc etc) and that my application was ready for the final stage where they will contact me.

I will post again if I receive the PPR email today.

my AOR is 15 may and I am in same situation. Background check has not started yet..I am so worried. Some of my frnds got their PR in 2 months after AOR.

You could always try, but at this point I would suggest that you order the GCMS

Same case for me.. I tried two times (Aug 20th and Sep 7th) and heard the same thing. "we are still determining your eligibility + we are processing your background check". But I would say, give it a try and see if you hear something new. Please keep us posted!

Hi,

Has anyone applied for BOWP and got it approved recently.
I applied for BOWP on 20th July and still waiting.

My BWOP took over a month and a half to be approved so don't worry! There was a really long wait for it. Mine was submitted end of may!
