Hi All,

I am an Indian citizen and got my PCC from India in the month of June. After this I travelled to US in July and have been here since then. I haven't received my ITA yet but hoping to receive it soon. My question here is, does my travel and stay in the US impact the validity of my Indian PCC or would I need to get another one from the Indian Consulate in the US?
TIA

Even if you don't live in your country of origin/citizenship after the PCC was issued, it is widely accepted that VO will expect a valid PCC for your country of origin/citizenship.
PCC are one of the most common reasons of application rejections.
I would really advise to not take this gamble, and get a new one.
Also, I'm not familiar with how/where India PCCs are issued, but I'm not sure a PCC from the consulate will be accepted... Double check.

Cheers

But isnt the PCC valid for 6 months?
It's valid for 6 months for your current country of residence. For other countries, it should be issued after your last visit. Your PCC was issued in June and you left in July. So now you need a new PCC from the Indian Consulate in US.
