Hello, what exactly is a ghost update?

I received the ghost update on Saturday and was expecting the PPR anytime this week but their servers are down since morning so there might be more delays.
Not a good news.

A ghost update is when you see the status as Application/Profile Updated but when you go in and check and there is no update. This behavior is known as Ghost Update here.

Same here!! I tried calling cic agents to make enquiries but I guess they are also affected by the servers down

If you open your statuses page and there is no change then yes, it is a ghost update Seems like a lot of us received ghost updates this week! Wishing for PPR rain the coming one!

Friends, i have my AOR for 3rd May. Till now I only have my medical passed. The status update shows that they are still checking my eligibility requirements and that BG hasnt yet started. Is this kind of delay normal?

Same status here. No changes since then. They asked for additional doc which i have provided last June 16. And now, additional doc status is "not applicable".

You can try. I tried twice already today, I didn’t make it to the point where the automated messages about account status is stated

I'd hold off calling them until this issue is fixed. From their twitter page, it's clear that the site outage has affected many people travelling today/tomorrow. So let the call center folks handle those people rather than us.
