Hi, Ii just received AOR2, that says the principal applicant's file has been transferred to Mississauga for processing, but I thought the application transfers to local VO where the applicant resides, is it not? I am the sponsor and my husband lives in Australia. Does this mean his application will be processed here in Canada? Thank you

August 29 - more documents requested. They want a more detailed timeline of relationship and more proof that the relationship is legit. I’ve sent all the info they requested. Let’s hope this doesn’t slow the process down too much. I literally sent hundreds of pages and photos of proof of relationship

Nope, PA is from Punjab,India.My question is that from now onward,will the file be processed in Mississauga or will the Office still forward it to NDVO. As far as i know, India is not a visa exempt country.Let's see whats next

I wonder the same thing as many applicants seem to have been transferred to Mississauga, but there are a few in the whatsapp group who have been transferred to NDVO, Sydney VO and Paris VO. SO hopefully we will be fully processed in Mississauga!

I sent an explanation of our relationship, greeting cards, social media post from both of us, social media posts from both sides of our families, printed out photos from the last 6 years, photos with both sides of the family, marriage announcement, marriage photos, social media posts showing family knew we got married (we eloped), joint bank account, cell phone bill..

Interesting that they asked for more especially if you're a US applicant (usually not as scrutinized). There must be a specific reason or some sort of gap in what was provided that's raising a question, I'd imagine. I sent less than you and had no problems, so it's not about the quantity that you send.
