My application they received it on June 20th/18 and I send it to Mississauga.

I send it to Mississauga on june 17th and they recieved it june 22/2018.. Hoping they will open it soon too

I know this is a waiting game but I’m not good at waiting. I haven’t heard anything in a month. I also know everyone is processed differently but it seems like people in my time frame are already getting their PR status. Still no update on background check or anything else. I have seen a few people jump straight from medical passed to DM. So fingers crossed.

Here’s my time line just for anyone wondering the same stuff as me:

Citizenship: USA


Visa Office: Mississauga


Application Received: June 1


AOR 1: July 10


Medical Exam Request: July 16


Medical exam: July 17


Medical Exam Pass: July 27


Sponsor Approval: July 17

Where did you get your UCI number from? We did not get any. We also sent our application on June 20 to Mississauga. Nothing received yet.

Your sponsor should have their own UCI number, use that and other sponsor's detail. SO sponsor's UCI number, sponsor's birthdate, And place of birth.

We are waiting for UCI number... generally, it comes within 45 days but we don't get yet...
Has anybody an idea why it is delaying?

I'm a June 1st applicant as well (Or rather, my fiancé is... He's the PA, I'm the sponsor. He's a British citizen). Our VO is also Mississauga.
Our timelines are very similar:
Received: June 1st

AOR1: July 11th

Med request: July 13th

SA: July 17th

AOR2: July 24th (email said application will be processed in Mississauga)

Medical completed: July 27th

Medical passed: July 31st

And nothing since. I log into GCKEY every night hoping to see something changed but it's just the same. Doesn't show background check has started yet. I'm guessing as a US citizen the application is supposed to move faster than other countries?

Sydney has apparently a huge backlog, plus count it being summer so probably officers on hols + the change of office from Missisagua. We need to be patients !

I got PA status updated to "medical instructions sent on Aug 21".
But neither me nor my lawyer received email containing medical forms.
Is there anyone else facing the same issue ??
