It’s totally not understood that how they skip September applicants and start sending oath invitation to October applicants.. and now they r doing the same thing with October applicants

Yes. It seems to be some type of priority order based on caseload which made sense with processing but not really with oaths in my mind.

I’m very disappointed with the process.

You just need to wait and see. Could be a week and could be 3 months. Let them know any planned travel dates.

When did you receive oath request?

I had informed CIC from last month that I’d be gone most of August and they still sent an invite during those dates!
I got the invite this week!

Yes the process is really not fair..

I applied in November, and took the test on May 10. Since than I've been in process. Is it possible to get oath without getting the DM? What do you guys suggest I do? Should I call them?

Hello,
I received my oath citizenship invite by email on August 7th for August 23rd in Mississauga. My test was in Scarborough.
I wrote to them a week before to let them know I was travelling in September, not sure if that helped.
Could you please update the spreadsheet?

I applied in October,took the test March 28 and since than I have been in process I called twice and I have not made any specific answer.

I applied in November (sent my package in October, it was received in November). Took test in May and had been In Progress since then - till ~31 Jul (2 weeks ago) when it changed to DM. Somehow similar timeline, +/- month, so probably your DM and oath right around the corner

Very similar timeline. Test in May, DM on July 27

Hi, My test July 11th..DM July 20th....I don' think they follow any order...like someone else mentioned in this forum....it depends on which agent gets your file and how busy their workload...not counting their vacation time.

We sent you a notice on August 10, 2018 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on August 30, 2018 at 9:00 AM.

Wrote my test at Scarborough on 16th April. Still haven't got any email so I am not sure where the test is.

Its best to call them in this situation...confirm this through an agent and ask them to send you a email confirmation...also check your junk mail/spam folder (i doubt this would land in there however do a complete check)
