In Denmark, Sweden, Germany, and some other EU countries, a Ph.D. is a paid full-time employment with a monthly salary.
Does Canada immigration recognise this experience for express entry?
Hi,
if you are applying under skilled work professional, the PhD earned outside Canada and even in Canada, doesn't count as a work experience.
It is meant to be Canadian work experience, that needs to be full-time for 12 months, before you apply.
Hope this helps.

I am applying under NOC
4012 Post-secondary teaching and research assistants.
And it states that "
Employment requirements
- Enrolment in, or completion of, a university or college program is required
Doesn't enrolment in a University or College means a PhD student or so?

I would say give it another week before you worry.
There were a lot of people that submitted after me and got AOR 2 weeks before me and I was very confused and worried at first.
But a few weeks later I got mine.
