Anyone with SPONSORSHIP status as "decision made" since April, received SA email/letter yet?

My parents belong to India and currently they are here in Canada until September. Their medical got passed this week and next in line is PCC request I believe. What is the procedure to take Police clearance for India from Canada? Should we go to BLS for PCC request ? If yes, should I start this process right away if it takes time to get PCC from BLS? Can we do PCC without getting request from Cic ? Please advise. I want to use the waiting time to get things done.

Yes. Apply in BLS or High Commissions of India in Vancouver for PCC. I am not sure, but I think you can start process right away and PCC is valid for 6 months.

I am making an attempt to check this week and next week. In unsuccessful then I will write the letter of explanation and send by next week ending.

So I found out and it will take about 10 days to get the death certificate from India.

1. How many days have been provided by IRCC to submit PCC? 30,60 or 90?
2. DId your application status in IRCC My Account access changes to "Background check in Progress" as you received PCC request?

Does anyone know if PCC is required for every applicant? The PCC request date column in the spreadsheet for many applicants are blank. Does it mean they didn't get PCC requests?

If PCC is not in English, do I need to get it translated and notarized?

Yes, the PCC is mandatory for every PR applicant. If it's not translated you need to provide an authorized translation as well.

2. No, still the same "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

30 days for you to submit. Also after ME passed, the background line changed. Before it was N/A.
