Following is my timeline. Pls note, My parents local VO is New Delhi but the file was transferred to Ottawa.

1. We received XXXX's application for permanent residence on June 28, 2017.
2. We started processing XXXX's application on May 4, 2018.
3. We sent XXXX medical instructions on May 4, 2018. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4. Medical results have been received. ( updated on 23rd May)

How do we get to know that medicals are successful? Does the doctor confirms it or gives any report with 'PASS'?

The IRCC account access status indicates the statement "You have passed Medical tests". That's how.

Yes, they asked to send to ottwa as my parents are living in canada now.

When i check online and ECAS, it says we have requested medical request, but i didn't receive any email or mail.
Did anyone of you guys faced the same issue ??

Have not received SA approval or any correspondence from CIC ? Is this normal ?

I am also very confused, when I check it online on the Cic website it says "in process' when I click the in process tab it says that file is received on 26th July 2017, that's it. On the other hand Cic requested for additional documents in December 2017 and after that they informed me in Feb 2018 that your Sponsorship is approved and they are forwarding the file to New Delhi India for Pr process. Since Feb they didn't contacted me.

I see Decision made in sponsorship coloumn in Ecas but did not recieve any email or anything in Linked application.

Also, if i want to bring my parents on visitor visa during this process would it be okay or not?
what if they transfered everything to New delhi and my parents are in canada?

For whoever got approved what was the timeline between medical and getting your visa. And after you get your visa how long do you have to enter country.
