Not for us. Still waiting for the medical. Last time I check in the CIC it still says the same. Medical not received and background still in progress. I don't understand why it's taking so long for the medical. From what I saw others they got their results in maximum 2 months. Its been almost 2.5 months now for us and it looks like it will take even longer as some of the people who applied before us still didn't receive theirs medical results yet neither.
We are very frustrated. My husband did his medical in the first week of february. In the IRCC website it says medical not received. so i called them. they said they don't receive the medical ever. It's 3 months now. Honestly, how long does it take a person to read a bunch of medical test results. takes my doctor a few seconds and then to give an opinion. there's nothing physically or mentally wrong with my husband, he's in perfect health. question is: where is his med report?
It took ours at least 50 days.. it has to go to a medical processing center where an approved doctor/employee looks at the results and says passed or not. Also I dont think havana is electronic..so the paper copy must be picked up and scanned.. it sucks..but not much we can do

I have been following this thread for quite some time, but this is my first time posting..
My husband and I are preparing to send in our Sponsor Application and I have a question.. ( I apologize if this has already been answered throughout this feed!)
Do I need to provide his ORIGINAL Cuban Passport? or are photocopies ok?
Also, what about his CARNET? photocopy ok?
I am finding conflicting information, but I think Cuba has country specific requirements about ORIGINAL documents.
What have you guys done in terms of this?
Thank you , and good luck to everyone who is going through the process!
My husband had his medical Jan 5th then in Feb got a call saying that everyone who went Jan 5th had to go back because there was an issue with the chest X-ray machine on Jan 5th. So he had to go back for a redo for the chest X-ray on Feb 16th... and we have not heard anything about the results since.. just a request for an updated police check.
Congrats to above!! Yes it is frustrating wait time. Good our goverment is still processing applications and working as usual. We just got our medical note as - PASSED!!! Fingers crossed they call very very soon. On tip toes now counting down ...
Yes waiting, nothing... phone ircc, waited about 30 minutes to get through then they tell me their computers are down (middle of day) for scheduled maintenance (middle of the day?)
