Hi, looks like still processing.... ot was told to us it takes 3-4 months. It is brutal waiting ... absolutely brutal. Hope something comes up soon. Will keep posted. Bope you hear back soon also. Keep positive
What date did he had his medical done? I'm trying too. Just losing my patience considering we have a 4 months old baby that he hasn't met yet and me being alone here with our baby is not helping neither. I wish I could go to Cuba but I'm scared of the Zika virus as it can still affect a baby if she's under 6 months old.

My husband had his medical Feb 16th too and was just asked to update police check. We were also told 3-4 months for medical to process. My husband knows someone though who had a medical Feb 16th too and he already has his Visa issued.. Just have to be patient and wait...
How do they skip process and not go by dates? Makes no sense someone who does medical later gets to go ahead of all others. Glad they got their visa Esoooo but it seems there is no "first come first" served in order. Confusing while trying to be pacient.
I hear ya...I'm not sure there is a consistent process or order of things... sometimes it's best not to compare I find..otherwise it's disheartening. Perhaps with the new "target" of 12 months things are a little backlogged..

Must be really difficult with the baby and dealing with this stress on top of new baby stress...don't worry..he will be here soon. Has he had his interview?

Article by CBC news from yesterday.. "Canada sending home families of diplomats in Cuba after cases of 'new type' of brain injury.." There may be some staff changes and unexpected health concerns which understandably could impede timeliness of files being processed.
Yes, seen that. This only refers to families of diplomats. Not diplomats themselves unless they want to leave or are sick. What happens to our families???
I hope all are well and taken care of, but what happens to our spouses and our families? This stuff should not be on social media. Especially when it is unknown cause of misterious illness. I am worried now with application in progress.
God bless all. Hoping our Goverment gets to the bottom of this issue. We stand for freedom and families and diversity. And there is not even travel advisory for Cuba. It is quite peacefull when I was there. Really sad .... I just want my husband home at last and unite our family. This is worrisome all around.

I hope you are correct. On pins as we await our process to finalize. All is disheartening when loved one is not able to be next to us and we have to say goodbyes at airports. However staying positive all comes to an end and he is home soon. Wish all best of luck
Today we got interview date for April 9. Odd thing is that it still says they have not received medical results and haven't started background check. Either nobody updates it or they truly haven't done either.
Visa received yesterday afternoon. Thanks everyone and good luck.
