Salaam all,

This is the 3rd time I have messaged no one is responding to my thread. I'm May 9, 2017 applicant. Yesterday we received a message from CIC wanting us to do re medical as previous one will expire in May. Also, our background check started yesterday and today er received pre arrival services email.
Want to know what's next? What should I expect from Cic now?

This a good sign only. Someone has started working on your fie atleast. I am a June Applicant. no word from LVO yet. the Pre Arrival is a good sign. For a timeline of events. I would suggest looking at the spreadsheet. I\d says within the next 2 3 months max you should be done! I guess next would be a passport request. correct me if I am wrong folks?

Dont know much but after LVO It might take around 6 more months.

May be more 6-9 months in my case and counting! June Applicant here!

That's a very good sign, you are almost done. I think you will get the PPR in few weeks. After pre-arrival email it takes few days to couple of months to get PPR.

Incorrect. Ecas can have a line stating you passed your medical..mine does.

it is not "Incorrect" mine is showing "medical results have been received" since Sept 13,2017. Though GCKey says, Medical has been passed.
Same status in ECAS alot of members reported here
Your ECAS may be updated with your medical results and with some other members as well

Hey, I applied for my husband's sponsorship back in October last year, I just received a letter via email stating my file has been forwarded to London visa office for further processing. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to ask for passport. Secondly, when I check my status online it doesn't show if medical exam has been passed, even though it was done back in December last year. I called and the agent told me its passed..any help will be much appreciated

Yes, got remedical email on 20 April and same day status changed to we are processing your background check. Today we got another email which was pre arrival services letter. May Allah fasten your process too InshALLAH

Today my ECAS has been updated with this info:
We sent (my wife) correspondence on September 14, 2017. If (my wife) has not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please have her do so as soon as possible. Please wait until (my wife) receives the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Now I remember receiving the letter from Immigration Canada on Sept 14th, 2017 asking Additional documents, Signing of NN / Wedding pics both Husband & Wife.
NN - English Translation

I have uploaded in GCKEY all the required PICS whatever I can and as much as I can and English translation of NN very next day i.e. Sept 15th, 2017
Deadline to provide the required docs / pics was Oct 14th, 2017.
Now I am shocked, surprised to see their comments in ECAS that after "More than 7 months" IRCC still looking for those docs??
though deadline was Oct 14th, 2017, and i have uploaded the docs via GCKEY and it was confirmed in GCKey as well with the comments :" Replacement Provided"

Now how come all of a sudden IRCC started looking for the same docs again? after more than 7 months on Apr 20th, 2018?
Also at the same time IRCC asking her to wait until she receives the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

I don't get it? IRCC asking her to do ASAP? and then asking her to wait for Additional Documents as it will outline all information that is required?
I have not received any email notification. As per my habit i just logged into ECAS. Nothing new in GCKey sam
Any help / tips here?
i will be sending out an email to LVO ASAP but i do so, i need some advise and tips here.!

I also got the same update on ecas that they've sent correspondence on sep8, on this date we were asked by IRCC to upload the schedule A form. Looks like they've opened our files finally. Im july19 applicant.
