I am march applicant still no response
Stuck in background check

Did u have interview or some thing red flag in your file ? U have more travel history or work with gov ? I am very worried about my application cause I passed the eligibility and think maybe when the file take so long means rejected I don't know really what the officer do ?

Hey, I applied for my husband's sponsorship back in October last year, I just received a letter via email stating my file has been forwarded to London visa office for further processing. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to ask for passport. Secondly, when I check my status online it doesn't show if medical exam has been passed, even though it was done back in December last year. I called and the agent told me its passed..any help will be much appreciated

have u linked ur file with GCKey? where did you check? in ECAS? if yes then ECAS doesn't show if medical has passed or not but GCKey does.
Once file moved to LVO for futher processing it may take minimum 6-8 or 6-12 months depends on each case to get the PPR OR DM

I have linked his file but it doesn't show anything..i called there toll free # and spoke with an agent, he told me that medical results on his end show passed

Need your expert opinion!!
I am May 09, 2017 applicant and my medical expires on May 12. Yesterday we got an email from CIC wanting us to to do re medical. Also, the status has changed to we are processing your background check.
Want to know what's next? How long will it take for ppr now?

Incorrect. Ecas can have a line stating you passed your medical..mine does.

For once i flew to dubai nd once to saudia thats my total travel history

Salaam all,

This is the 3rd time I have messaged no one is responding to my thread. I'm May 9, 2017 applicant. Yesterday we received a message from CIC wanting us to do re medical as previous one will expire in May. Also, our background check started yesterday and today er received pre arrival services email.
Want to know what's next? What should I expect from Cic now?

You got you’re visa in 6 months? Wow that was fast

We applied in May. Took around 10 and a half month for the whole process.

Dont know much but after LVO It might take around 6 more months.

I don’t think there’s any need to panic, I’m also July applicant. I got same update on ecas, seems like they’ve finally opened our batch.

Don't worry I am not officer me applied May. I don't receive any thing up to now I am worried about my self
