Does anyone know if parents (parent sponsorship case) need to bring a minimum amount of money when they enter Canada after getting visa?
If your Mom / Dad entered Canada after getting visa, can you share the experience at the immigration desk....like how was it? questions asked? etc.
My parents landed in June last year. I dropped by this forum again to get some advice. Does anyone know if they can move to another province (Vancouver, BC) after they landed in Toronto, Ontario? Are there any immigration rules regarding this such as staying in Ontario at least for certain number of years? It's just that my husband and I may have to move to Vancouver and we need to bring them with us. Will there be a problem when they apply for PR renewal?
I'll really appreciate it if anyone can give me any information.
(BTW, congratulations everyone who already have their parents here and wish everyone the best luck who is still waiting for the final steps)
Finally the request for medical and PCC
Please advise: How to get Canada police check when parents are in India.
They were here for more than 6 six months on super visa,
and the 45 days deadline is scary, already a week has passed.
I will appreciate a response,
Same here. Sponsorship approved in Feb 2017 and nothing after that except the email that the file has been transferred to Ottawa office. Called CIC a few times. They say it is normal process. It looks weird to me. Some people already landed last year and our files are still not even looked into.

Hi guys..just wanted to update you that my parents got asked for a re-medical just today.
It seems like in some cases some people are not asked, but in some cases they are.
Will get it done soon and let's see what happens after. Will keep this group posted.
Apologies I don't know. There must be a way, please try contacting RCMP if you are after PCC for Canada. RCMP website should have the information you'll need.
Email on July 6th, 2016- submitted July 12, 2016 via case specific enquiry, Sep 2018 documents requested, PR fees requested Jan 2019
Nomination.....
CC charged March 22, 2016 (Ecase activated April 26, 2016)
AOR Received.
May 16th, 2016 in Mail
File Transfer...
SA Approval on Feb 3, 2017 - transferred to OTTAWA - reassessment requested again March 2018, refused June 4 2018, again requested reassessment on June 20, 2018, SA approved again in Aug 2018

Bro this process is so random and cic is after some people only. Some gets PR within a year some are waiting since 2011. Even my mothers file got transferred to Ottawa in Feb 2017 but now suddenly they asked for Option C print outs for the last 4 years to reassess my sponsorship again... like what the hell if it is already approved for a year now why you ask again and even if you wanna check incomes for these few years sure i'll send you but atleast go ahead start processing PR in ottawa why sending back application to Mississauga again. So frustrated on this freaking stupid immigration scam.
Quick question. When Visa office request document, do you guys reply email with document(this is the instruction in their email) or upload on CIC website? or both?
