Background check finally started. I'm not sure exactly when but I'm logging it as today since I saw it today. The last time I checked CIC was March 19, and I checked again tonight and the status has updated. We didn't receive an email about the update though.

Hi, I am AUGUST applicant and I didn't get success to create GCKey. I can see that my application is already processing in NDVO but I can't see whether they already started Background check or not. Is there any other way to check whether they started Background check or not?? Is it just the GCKey?

You can call 1-888-242-2100, enter your application number and it will read exactly what it says on GCKey.

Your ppr will come soon, i can sense it, usually when bgc started the next step will be ppr, be patient it will come very soon

Yup, we're definitely just patiently waiting for any updates and keeping our fingers crossed. Not planning on ordering notes or contacting the MP any time soon since it's still within the 12 months time processing time.
