AOR is for applications submitted by paper. Since you submit you application with the express entry process your AOR would be the pdf you got just after submission. Just continue to watch your express entry profile for updates. Also keep in mind that the comments you are seeing are for paper applications and not express entry

Oh thanks .. that's why i too got confused with all these statuses. Could you please let me know in which i thread i should follow for express entry.

I am PNP (paper based) Outland. Below is my time line for PR.

Nomination received : 20 Nov
File received by CIC: 23 Nov
AOR received: 24 Jan
Link file to online: 25 Jan

Now waiting for the next step..

Btw, I have applied for Work permit online as well last Nov since I have employer support but still no progress.

Anybody have same situation? Basically I have 2 applications pending PR and WP..

Hi all, me and my friend filed same day under AINP SRS PGW category, we got file number feb 20,2018...my friends status under background is: “we are processing your background checks. We will notify you if anything changes.” Is this any different than my status: “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.”
