hey Hii, i am a resident of MAU too, but citizenship India. Application make with residence country as MAU, i think thats why my application too has not made much traction as compared to other fellow India applicants who are getting ppr quicker. Pretoria is most likely to be our LVO, do you know of any other MAU applicants with aor around december/jan? my aor is jan 11.
As for your question, you get 30 days from day of ppr issue to submit your passport but you can also ask for extension with justification. Also, once you land in europe, will you move within europe as well? I ask because once you get ppr and if you are there, you can ask for where your closest visa office is for passport submission, you can then give it in europe itself and it usually takes 20-30 days to get your passport back with copr issued. hope this answer helps you.
Don't know anyone who applied around Dec/Jan. Yeah I think our VO is Pretoria.
I'm expecting to get the PPR by end of March / start of April which will coincide with my departure from Mauritius. I can probably send the passports from there as you suggested.
However, it might pose a big problem to start life in a foreign country without your passport. Would that even be sensible?
Yet again, it's been a quiet day with the PPRs! It's frustrating to see some AORs in late Dec receiving PPR and then there's me, AOR 18/12, still stuck at IP2!

You are not alone AOR 9/12, still at IP2. The other issue is that I even don't know my VO. I've mailed CIC requesting info about my VO, still no reply for almost a week.

Oh! don't worry, our wait will be over soon, I read in another forum that in total 400 candidates got updated to IP2 on 27/02 mass update, out of which 50 have already received PPR! So I think our email is on its way too

Yes, hopefully we'll all get our golden mail soon. Along with hope, it's the support system & motivation of the forum members that's keeping us sane and providing the required patience and positive attitude.

Current Processing:
*Overall, i am not seeing a lot of activity from CIC, there have been many rumours about mass IP2 indicator, but it never yielded anything much. If anything at all.
PPRs by Visa Office:
*Ottawa is leading with the most number of PPRs, some other VO are doing not bad too, NDVO is quite sleepy at this stage.
Statuses by the month of submission up to date 2017:
*I would say that CIC clears up 85% of applicants within 12 months mark. 6 months is not an accurate figure.
Statuses by day of submission for 2018
*In 2018 the trend is slightly slower than in 2017.

Hello if I am travelling out of country of residence for a week's vacation, are we supposed to inform CiC about it? Also if I get the ppr now, how many days do we have before we need to submit the passports to the VO. We are travelling end of March so want to make sure we have the timelines covered.
