We received pre arrival email 3-4days before remedical email.

Anyone who landed or completed PR process .
Is it possible to check the status of an initial PR Card online ?
I can login to MYCIC/ECAS but it just shows my Permanent Resident application as complete.

Yes, you can check the status in MyCIC account. Link your pr card application under your account.

I tried but when you select PR card category system couldn't find the application. I'm entering the correct criteria as I cnlink with PR application-

An agent told me that you can’t check the status of new PR card. If its renewal of PR card, then you can check the status in MyCIC.

Is the email sent from MyCIC when there are updates? I only got the emails when they attached re-medical forms.
Now I am waiting for the status update and don't know if I need to log in to check it or there will be an email....
Does anybody know this?

Yes, It's the first time.
Sent PCC/Travel history on Jan 4, 2018.
Received Medical request on Jan 7, 2018.
Received pre-arrival letter in the email on Feb. 22, 2018.
When can I expect the PPR mail? Any guesses?
