we all like to hear that Spousal Sponsorship is now reduced from 12 months to 6 months
Nothing going to change in total process time OR delay time.

Grey means that additional documents were requested.

Mine time line is white though Additional Documents were requested on Sept 14th, 2017.

grey means, LVO is working on their files .. atleast there has been some movement .. white means nothing has happened to this case since it went to LVO ..

Sorry for this basic question but on the spread sheet, red means case declined. Green means case is done. What does grey and white cases mean?

grey means that additional documents were requested.
white means its just normal, its not declined, its not complete, theres no additional doc request.

Hi Guys,

Who here has gotten a PFL ? I needed some help regarding that. I am asking on behalf of a friend who is not on FB.

My friend got a PFL stating that her relationship is culturally unusual. She basically made an error in her application which she just saw now. She came for her Nikkah last year and, in her application wrote that she and her husband lived in the same house during that time she was here. This did not happen and is an honest mistake. And the visa officer thinks this is unusual in Pakistan's culture. They have asked for application. How should she approach this? What should she tell them to convince them it was just a mistake? Should she hire a lawyer at this stage?

Help would be appreciated!

was going to mail the application today but just noticed that they have the new version (02/2018) of Additional Family Information form now...what da @#$%. So I guess I will have to use that now and have my wife sign and mail me again?

My wife is the same situation in Pakistan right now.

Did you try to contact/ go in person to Islamabad embassy (since we are citizens should be able to visit our country's embassy consulate) and find out why our interviews are not getting scheduled. I also have a son (who go his citizenship) and am now thinking of quitting my job and return to Pakistan (or at least for the time when my wife gets the PR). I saw the CIC minister Mr. Hussain making speech online today saying all the changes he has made, but we dont see any on our end, I am thinking of writing him an official letter signed by MP.

Who else is waiting more than 12 months want to include into this letter ?

There's got to be another way

yes unfortunately you will have to use the new one, if you send old form, they may reject the app

hi, be honest about the mistake. tell them it did not happen and due to human error it was filled incorrectly. she can maybe get some signed letters from relatives or family members saying that this did not happen etc.

the only thing your friend can do is be honest about the mistake.
