Congratulations. Please can you advise if your parents were asked to redo meds and did you recv the pre arrival letter. If yes, please can you advise dates. I was asked to redo meds on Nov 3. We did it on Nov 6. We also recd the pre arrival letter on Nov 3. Ecas show "DM" for a few weeks now. But we have not recd the PPR yet

Not sure at all what’s the criteria of picking up the files, we got the medicals done for first time in July of 2016 n the second medicals were done in mid November 2017 almost same as ur case, first medicals done here in Canada and the second ones were done in India.If ECAS says decision made you should get the PPR soon.

They requested on Jan 2nd for Re-medical.

I guess "yes" it is required to enter all travel details (however i too missed these initially).

the reason is that they have asked in Question 8 that "If you were outside your country of nationality, indicate you status in that country"

I dont know how they conduct backgroud checks, but if they check against the applicants names and something comes up relating to travel abroad, this might cause issues and concerns as these were not mentioned in question 8.

Is it necessary to include all my vacations taken between my country of residence & country of origin while I was employed in my personal history section? I have stamps on my passport when I entered my country of residence & country of origin during these annual vacation times and hence concerned if CIC would expect me to declare it. I cannot include my vacation time under travel history as it mentions only include travel outside your country of residence and origin.

Hello every one,

Here is a brief flagpolling experience at Lansdowne border ( close to 1000 islands Kingston ) in case if any body was looking for that:

My parents didnot have US visa so they falg polled,On border crossing US officers were good ,they took finger prints and pics and issued a paper of denied entry.I specifically enquired if this is a refusal and do i need to mention while applying for visit visa to US later.They both said you will mention if application asks about finger prints but if application asks about refused visa then it is not actually refusal and basically this is an administrative thing and you didnot even enter US.This is not a refusal.On Canadian side they asked us to sit and completed the paper work up in 15-20 mins nicely and that was it.
