Nope, you're right. Complaining to CNO is pointless. Complaining to Office of the Fairness Commissioner might be worth something--not for you directly but for making Office of Fairness Commissioner force CNO to change their practices.

Hello, its my first time on this site and I find it very interesting. Does any know how long it takes to get a form authenticated? My employer set in some documents about a week plus now and each time I check online it says awaiting authentication.
After waiting the usual waiting times of almost 2hrs the representative told me that my police record is on file and my english requirements are also on file.
So i asked what about my education. As you know they cant say alot. However, she told me they havent started reviewing my education as yet.
The letter i received stated my education is under review when its not even been looked at yet.

HI,
i called thm yesterday and they said my education requirement is under review and they said currently they are reviewing the documents they have received by end of july and it will be reviewed in the order in which the documents were received. I sent all the job descriptions in the beginning of August. Hence fingers crossed.
Also they told me ,for other general documents or letters they are currently reviewing the one which were received in November.

Hi there,
I am filling the NNAS application form. And the problem is I got stuck in the examination section where they ask to enter the complete and formal name of the nursing registration/ licensing examination that i have completed. But at the time i got registered there was not any examination procedure though they have now.We use to apply some of our documents like transcript and character certificate from our college which directly lead us to be registered. So anyone with the same issue or have some idea about this, please do share.Any kind of information or suggestion will be highly appreciated.Thank you.

I got my CELBAN score (I passed! Yay!) sent to NNAS on January 3rd. On January 20th, they said the document is waiting for authentication. And nothing has changed after that.
Do you have any idea how long they will take to authenticate a document sent by CELBAN?

This question is appearing again & again. So let me explain it. In US & Canada , nurses have to give NCLEX after graduation in order to get the license unlike in other countries like Pakistan & India where after graduating from the authorized colleges they apply directly to licensing bodies & get the license.
In this case your license exam is your formal education.
NNAS is a huge hassle, my application has been 'Ready for Review' since November 2017 and 4 days ago they asked me for a new certified true copy of my passport, I had the copy certified by the same lawyer who previously certified the copies I sent. I sent the new Certified true copy 2 days ago via email and they replied today saying that they need an explanation letter from the lawyer (I had already sent one with the previous Certified true copies) but it's the same lawyer who had done the ones I had previously send. It's been such a frustrating journey for me :/
