To those who cannot link their application to their account in CIC.

I just called the CIC while having my application open on the screen. While talking to them I asked to lead me through the answers. And it appeared, that the spelling of the city of birth is different on the file, not the same as on the forms that we submitted with the application. Why is it different? I have no idea.... The guy on the phone said that wrong spelling of the city of birth and wrong number of people on file (the last question on the form) are the most common issues.
In my case, number of ppl on file is 4 (apparently adults only: my husband and I + my parents). And after the guy gave me the correct spelling of the city of birth I finally could link my application."

Question is when I applied my family size was me, my husband, my baby born in 2017 and my mom and dad. I met financial requirements for 5. But now the thing is I am pregnant again, does it mean even for 2016 I need to have LICO for 6 people. Please help.

when baby is born you must report about family increasing and here if they are process ur case before it - good for you, if not you should meet LiCO for 6 people for all 3 years.
did you take ur hubby like a co-signer?

Yes. Our application was received in Mississauga 6 months ago. Just did medical and police report 2 weeks ago.

1- I remember there was a ministrerial instruction or recommendation(?!) to case workers that said: A) it's a stronger case for Supervisa when there is a PGP application AND B) the case officer is NOT to worry about social / polictical issues of a country when considering SuperVisa. But googleing those keywords I can not find it. This was after there was an outcry that lots of SuperVisa applicants were being rejected. Can anyone please point me to those? This could have been Jason Kenny or someone else.

2- My in-laws who we sponsored under pgp 2017 with an application ACCEPTED (and not approved yet) have done a medical checkup to be used for Super Visa. Should we send the paperwork to update the sponsorship application too?

2- For sponsorship, they've assigned places which submit results directly and it expires as well. The reports won't be accepted if they're from somewhere else. You need to wait for medical instructions.

So I am one of those guys waiting for any update since I got my AOR last August. In ecas it showed "action is required" since linking it last September. Do I need to unlink my ecas and link it again? Maybe there is a bug in their webpage?

no all good, looks like It is small bug i have same message on my application as i click on "View submitted application " to check more details. looks like you did same thing too.

Thanks! Yes the application details did say anything about any action I need to do. It just said that they are processing my application.

I'll just continue waiting and hope something good will come up soon.

In my application it's saying your action is required? but i don't see anything there. is this common or i am missing something here.

Yes, that's normal. If they need something, you will see under message and/or email.

I applied in July 2017
AOR received Nov 8 2017

After that no update yet. All my friends who applied at the same time have their status updated to in process. Mine still shows application received only.

Since your applicant is under process, you only need to meet income for 6 after the baby is born, i.e. 2018 and onward.
Income for 5 is good for previous years since your family size was 5 when your applicant was filed/received.
