My friend,1.30 The requirements are complemented by the proof of living together in 2017. It may be necessary to add to the fact that you haven't been married for two years
Does anyone know how long it normally takes to get your Police Certificate back from the FBI?
I sent it from Montreal and am worried it may not arrive by the time I need to submit it. (If this does happen how would i go about that?)
Hey there!i sent mine to FBI and it was received at the end of November. And I am expecting to hear back from them by March not even earlier. In the other group they said that FBI are working today on the applications that they've received on Sept 25th. I am also from Montreal. Where did you do your fingerprints?

I did mine at the Global ID Services, 200 Boulevard René-Lévesque O. It was very easy and they were very nice.
Sending them all out today.
What did you do in regards to uploading the PC to your account since you haven't received it yet?

Oh wow! Mine was an awful expirience. They did it not clear and refused to re-do them, they said they need a letter from fbi that they are rejecting the copy in order to do another copy for free otherwise I have to pay for another copy. So I decided to take a chance and sent whatever I had. Now looking at the timeline for that certificate I am afraid that they may request another copy!
Well my PR application was received only in Dec so I got some time until they ask for PC. I have to provide 3 of them. So far I got 2. I guess if I won't get an fbi-one in time I will have to write a letter or something that it's still in process. I don't know. I just really hope that the copy that i sent will actually work.
What about you? They've already ask you for the PC?
Thanks for the clarification. Also, have you received SA yet? Seems like some people receive it the next day of AOR, and for some, they don't get it until months later.
I actually need clarification on this too. I thought SA comes the same time as AIP, which if it is, will take months still as it is towards the end of your application... If I'm wrong, can someone give feedback on this please? Is SA the same as the AOR sent to sponsor?

Aor sent to sponsor is just to let them know that they have received the sponsorship application. SA is different and comes later on in the process. It is when the sponsor is eligible to sponsor the principal applicant under family class sponsorship. AIP usually follows after SA. AIP is when the principal applicant is eligible to apply for PR under family class sponsorship.
In my case I got SA but no AIP, No DM....only landing!!!

Oh wow, that is a bummer! What an awful place. Well, i hope that the first ones you sent work out as well! Its smart you sent it in early since they are taking about 4 months right now to process, I believe. I wish I would have thought ahead like that.
Well, the application was received on October 26th and then received my AOR December 19th. I didn't notice after linking the application online that they requested the PC only a month after the AOR, which I find ridiculous seeing as it takes much longer to receive it. And I didnt bother to go get my fingerprints done during the holidays since i was busy and thought places would be closed. So now I am even more backed up.
As long as I get my OWP then I don't mind how long the Permanent Residency takes. Where are you located?
