"If you're application was mailed or received after Tuesday October 25th 2016, it is not yet being processed. The approximate processing time is 14 months."

why does it say october 2016 though? I think that is for applications received before the change they made in December 7 2016..as our applications that were received in 2017 have already been processed. I do not think the 14 months apply to us... the online page updated on the 24, so just 3 days ago and it does not make sense that they changed it on the IRCC automated number during holiday time. so i do not think the 14 months timeline apply to us.

On CIC website, its still showing 12 months as processing time for sponsoring spouse outside Canada.

I know. I saw that also...which is why I'm equally stressed and confused.

Ya that's what I was wondering also... it doesn't make sense. Maybe they meant October 2017? It's confusing but also stressful because you just never know... between ircc and ndvo anything is possible...
