In NN usually the name is same as appears on CNIC , if the name is wrong I believe you should correct it.

I went to consult and he said not to change it

It means they have made a decision regarding sponsors eligibility to sponsor his/her spouse. This is the first part-when sponsor is approved cic moves the file to the visa officer to review the applicants file You will get a letter on the decision ( approval or refusal) soon via email. Let us know when u get it so i can update the spreadsheet.

Still have not gotten any email yet. I had lost my PR status but appealed in court and got it back in 2016. This maybe the delay for SA? are there any cases where sponsor approval was refused?

Since u are a July applicant, you still have time but dont send it very late otherwise thr processing of ur app may be delayed. Make new passport and cnic and send it via email and courier to LVO address. Add a cover letter with both explaining why she is changing now. It usually takes them 25-30 days to add a new doc to ur file.

Thanks! What could be possible reason? why she is changing her last name in Jan 2018, after 8 months of our marriage?
Also, even after speedy work in Karachi, it may takes 4-6 weeks OR more to get her both New CINC and New Passport, which means i will get the copies of both by Mid Feb 2018 (means 7 months of my application processing time) and then LVO may takes another 25-30 days to update her record it means Mid Mar 2018? (8 months of my application processing time)?

I have got the PR Visa stamped on my passport and now I am planning to land in Feb 2018.

Who else is planning to land around the same time. I would need some advise from the people who have already landed in the past regarding housing and employment mainly.
