Hi, I got AIP on dec 19 and ecas says: decision made for sponsor side and in process for principal applicant.
I applied inland on May 25, 3016 and I was out of status.
Should I apply for a work permit or just wait it out for PR.
BG check started May 2017.
Thanks!
Hello,
My wife landed today at the etobicoke office and everything went smoothly. Thanks to everyone for their help. Good luck to people still waitin. Peace out
Quick question I received a letter in CIC stating that we need to renew passport as it has expired... now in that letter it states...
Please find enclosed your original passport seized by CBSA and IMM5265 form-notice of seizure. This form must be signed and dated and the original document must be returned to this office...
Does this mean I am going to get my passport in the mail? And I have to renew it and resend to them?

Hey everyone. I have a question. My husband met with an accident and he is at fault. Does that affect my application for PR. Do we need to notify it to my CIC?
Just like visitor Visas, eTAs become invalidated as soon as you land.
That said, I would try anyway. I mean, I don't think they check eTAs for online or airport check-ins. As long as they don't validate them, which I think just their existence is enough, they will still let you board. That's the key here. If you get to Canada, you'd be fine.

Need your help and suggestions. My wife just recieved the “Authorized” email from CIC saying that her PR application has been authorized and my local office will contact her for an appointment. (I guess this will be her interview appoitment). My question is how long they will take to contact (i.e. Edmonton office)? And when they normally schedule the appointment (how much time i have coz my wife is travelling back home from Jan 7 to Feb 28)? What i have learnt from different posts here that sponsor has to be present at the interview but the problem is i am an officer at canadian armed forces and i will be on out of town training from jan 15 to 24 april ... in that case can i request to have the interview without being sponsor present????
Did the officers there charge him (give him a ticket)? What area of Canada.
It will only matter in cases like Dangerous Driving, DUI, etc. If it was a simple Fail to Stop or unsafe lane change, something highway related (therefore not criminal), it's not required to disclose.
If it was criminal, then he still has the presumption of innocence until he pleads (pays the fine, etc) or has been finalized with a criminal court. So they ask about convictions, not commissions.
