Nope it has been 24 months since our case and 16 months since my husband is under security check still nothing.. and we even have daughter she is 2 years old. Don't know how much more to wait

Wow. That is a very long time. I pray that inshAllah your stress, separation and hardships will soon come to an end.
(and please don't take offence but I pray that my application does not take that long because already this is severely affecting my marriage and any dreams I had)...

Before on my gckey it stated: "Review of medical results - You passed the medical exam."
Today this status changed to: "Review of medical results - You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes."

Does anyone have any idea or thoughts as to what this change might mean???

Salam so i called cic and they said they sent the letter with file number but I havent gotten it yet. It was sent like a week ago.. and Im havjng issues with linking application to online. Do I input the info of the person being sponsored or the person sponsoring?

I believe you put the PA's info in. But you definitely need your application number in order to link to GCKey so wait until you receive that. Also, I remember when I was entering the PA's info - for date of birth, just use one space only and don't put in the actual birthdate. Hope this helps.

I am exactly like ur application , mine January ,6 , 2017 .
Everything done and just background still pending , but this is for my husband , MP said , background or security is started on May until now ,
I so scared , because for starting On March now gonna 9 months .

have u had any updates now that ur one year is almost up???? (im a march applicant)

Im also sponsoring my husband our application date is july 2016 his eligibility was passed since February and his BGC is in process since February 2017. Idk how long we have to wait for bgc to finish. His medical was expired on june. I believe they r going to ask for remedical after BGC is passed. And after remedical i have seen usually it takes another couple months

Its ok dear no i didnt get any update it has been 17 months since i applied and i hope
I get some update on January

Ah yes! It did expire on Dec. 13th - Did they ask you to submit another one???
