Hello everyone ,

If anyone could give me an idea how/what to read in ATIP notes ?? it is a 70 page document.
My visa office is London and medicals were passed in March 2017 and PCC and RPRF were paid that time.And since then no update and background check has not yet started.

I found the NOTES section most helpful. Check for the latest note, it will give some update on when & what was the last thing done on the file.

I have 61 pages and I understood the main thing that they will take my case on Jan.17 so you can see Due date there.
Also found they didn't start check police

Hi Simp,

London Visa office is currently processing files from January and February Medicals. Hang in there, your application is next and youll hear something very soon. If not in 10 days then for sure in January 2018.

Okay so i m still waiting to see any progress to my mom's application. We got the sponsorship approval in Feb 2017 but after that nothing happened. I requested ATIP notes and nothing on those notes too. I cannot link the application (tried everything everyday no luck). No updates on Ecase and just shows your application has been received. That's it. Please let me know if i'm missing something or anyone in the same boat. Kinda of frustrated with cic with this kind of process.

Hi All,
I sponsored my parents for the 2016 PGP. I received the medical exam letter around same time last year and the medical was done Dec 31,2016 and the website shown medical was passed after a few months. But I just received another email from CIC yesterday request another medical exam saying the first one is expired. Also today I received the pre arrival service email. I was wondering has anyone had similar experience before? What does the pre-arrival letter really means? is the application process almost done pending the second medical exam? I really appreciate any input.

Need urgent help from experts please:

My parents completed second medical exam 10 days back. My parents passport is expiring in couple of months. So there are in the process of renewing the passport.

The issue is, when my father and I applied for passport, my mom had different spelling for her name. Then when my mom applied for the passport, she had the different spelling. She still follow the same spelling of what she has in her current passport. (just one character, instead of 'U', it has 'A').

When my parents visited passport office in India, the admin Clark suggested for the spouse spelling correction in my father's passport.

My question is, if we change the spelling of spouse name in my father's passport, will it cause an issue?

I received pre-arrival letter last Friday. I am just worried that we are having this issue at the last stage of the processing.

just can say i wanted to change Julia to Yulia/one letter/ and that cost big money.
and plus we have "-a" ending for female's last names and that is different last name for them. so think twice to avoid problem during visa stamp or landing

I was away on vacation and now I'm back. I see that some of you had problems accessing the timeline spreadsheet during my absence. I fixed it. I couldn't reply to your PM's either. I'm truly sorry for any inconvenience.

Many of you are getting request for redoing medicals and some of you are getting PPR or DM lately. Congrats to the later group .

I'm not that regular anymore in this forum although I will timely update the SS.
