My file again transferred to NDVO on December,05,2017.I am confused what is happening to my file.First it transferred to NDVO on July,07,2016.
Then it transferred to OTTAWA on August22,2016 and now again to NDVO on December 05,2017.

For information for all of our forum members:From October24,2017 age limit for dependents increased from under 19 to under 22.
We can add our child if our application is in process.
I have applied to add my younger daughter who is 21 in my file.
This is for guidance of all of our family members.One can can see or check the eligibility this in check my application status.

Today i sent an email to CPC-Ottawa asking for file status of my parents as medical is expiring and they replied within 1 hour asking me to provide Travel History. My parents medical is expiring in middle of February.

No, They never asked me to provide Travel History. Yesteryear i just send email to ask about status and quoted that medical is expiring in February and i have not heard anything from last January 2017 and in reply they asked me to provide Travel History.

I think, it's because of, you asked to add your younger daughter. I heard that if there is any dependent in your file, they will transfer the file to your local visa office.

Hi everyone,

After a long list of updates in last week of November and First week of December in terms of re medicals and passports calls it’s quite since then.

We got the remedicals done on 15th of November to be exact. No news ever since. Any suggestions from your experience or expertise folks.

Due to Christmas time..everyone is in holiday mode. I doubt anyone will get any further comms from them over the next 2-3 weeks I imagine.

Received re-Medical request and Pre-Landing advice today. But my Medicals don't expire until Feb 5, 2018. Should I redo the Medicals? Or is there a chance CIC Ottawa will be able to finalize the application before then? PCC and RPRF fee were already provided/paid.

We were in similar situation. They sent pre-arrival letter and asked for re-medical early Nov, although our initial medicals were valid for another 2-3 months. We told them that we can land before the expiry of the medical if they can issue the visa, however, CPC-Ottawa confirmed that they need new medical results as they can not issue visa past the medical expiry date. This suggests that may be they can't issue visa until early 2018 and hence new medicals.
