I have only just come across this very informative forum.
My application status changed from Application Recieved to Decision Made on 29th November 2017. (My application was received on 19th September 2016, Spousal Class Inland)
The issue I am a little concerned with is neither myself or my lawyer has had any update regarding the decision no letter has been issued.
I spoke with IRCC today who informed me the application has been approved, however a letter from the Processing Centre has not yet been issued. He told me that a local office had been added to my file, however my file had not yet been transferred to them.
Can anyone else relate to this timeline or isssue?
I believe it is 9-10 weeks for a Landing Interview, would this be from the date of the decision on 29th?
Thank you in advance for any replies.
I just called in, and the automated answer said they are processing application received on or before October 21, 2016. It took them a week to move one day in the processing time! October 2016, still no AS/AIP.... Not sure if we can make it before the end of this year
Still waiting for final decision, I can see that few people who applied after me for spouse inland application they received - Landing invitation and I haven’t.
My question is I did medical and police clearance when I put my application (Jul-2016) do I need to do it again? Also why its taking long for me to receiving Landing invitation
Hi guys, just got my invitation to land today after 8 weeks of DM!
Timeline
July 26 2016 - application received
April 11 2017 - Police certificate
June 26 2017 - Medical
October 12 2017 - DM
December 7 2017 - Landing invitation for the following week

That's not normal. From DM to landing, it's normally a timeframe of 2-9 weeks. So if you had DM in June, I would definitely call CIC to know about the status of the application.

The timeline will normally be from the time the local office will receive your application. Why it hasn't been transferred already? This I have no clue. I remember one case here that was like yours. It took few more weeks than normal, but no problems. Also, the timeline depends strongly on your location. If you have to land in Etobicoke or Montreal, these are the busiest (so they have the longest timeline). But if you are to land in a smaller office, that might go quite fast.

There is a young person who drops by from time-to-time that was in the same scenario (as @sylvain1 mentioned in his reply), @dskeard . They did contact CIC and seemed to be delayed even after the call. You could reach out to your local MP's office (find them here: https://www.ourcommons.ca/Parliamentarians/en/members ; enter your postal code at the top right). They can call into CIC on a special MP line that has an actual person who can actually answer question and action things.

I wouldn't let that bother you yet. There is a good chance they shifted focus to another stream for a short time. We have seen this pattern a few times this year. When they come back to inland 2016, we usually see bursts of news. Given that the news in this thread is slowing down, I would suggest that it's about to happen again...
No need to do anything unless CIC ask for it. If you stayed in Canada during the process, I see no reason to have a new police certificate. Regarding the medical exam, you cannot redo it without a form requesting you to do so. CIC might have extended the validity of your medical exam, or they may ask you to redo it later. If they do ask you to redo it, you will know that they are expecting to be able to make their decision soon after.
Regarding the timeline between AIP and DM..... it's so variable. From few hours to several months. It's very likely your security checks that are holding you up.
Hi everyone, to all who are awaiting the landing interview, it is now up to 10 weeks. Dropped by the Mp's office this morning and was told. Guess we gotta squeeze a little more patience out.
Hi Everyone
