2. We started processing your application on October 26, 2017 in delhi.
3. Medical results have been received.

why is it saying july? did they ask you to send any missing documents in june?

I have applied visitor visa for my husband in september and we got visa in november 3 which is valid till 2021
And our file is also in process since may.
So there is no harm in applying and i am sure it wont affect your file

no.. they update application no in 17 july .

Mine has same status since Apr 17.

How did your interviews go? Did the visa officer mention anything about PPR? And how long it’s going to take?

My interview went well. Thank you for asking. They told me that I should get an email for passport request in 2 weeks and from what I have heard they gave most of the interview applicants the same timeframe. It has been 2 weeks since the interview and I have not received anything from them as yet. I will keep you posted if I receive any updates.

I am a Feb 2017 applicant. Finished interview on the 27th of Nov.

I just want to reconfirm what the status of my GC Key account means. I've posted this before but I am still not sure what to make of it, so here goes..

GC Key said
'your background check is in Progress. We will send you a msg when we start your background check'

5 days ago GC Key changed to
'Your background check is in Process. We will msg you if we need more information'.

I have not received a dm or anything other than them changing that line on GC Key exactly 5 days ago.

Do you think my background check has started?

You gotta take the letter requesting for the medical, a copy of your passport, original passport and Rs. 4100.
Be there by 8am and you should be done with everything by 10 or 11am. There will be many visa applicants lined up on the same day as you. The Bandra Hospital is pretty organized so don't worry it will be quick and easy

Can you please share how did you get flight itinerary without booking a flight. I was planning to book a return flight ticket with trip cancellation insurance for my wife, but the insurance provider only covers Canadians. So, I confused, if i should book or not.

I jus went searched for a flight in aricanada site.. then sahred that itenary in email. so i kept that email copy as "proposed flight itenary"

If you applied online, where did you uploaded all additional documents like sponsorship eligibility approval copy and Sponsor PR card?

online.. PA is in India.
I kept all mentined docs along with the invitaion letter.. jus made it as 1 pdf and uploaded in the section for Invitation letter
