My background check says not applicable what does that mean?? Any idea, y have they written not applicable?? Does it mean that the the background check has not started?? Don’t know wat s happening

I have applied visitor visa for my husband in september and we got visa in november 3 which is valid till 2021
And our file is also in process since may.
So there is no harm in applying and i am sure it wont affect your file

Thats is not at ol true....my first wedding anniversary was on 5th November. I applied in January 2017. Background in process since October 6 nothing came up after that. Still waiting for DM and PPR.soo its ol fake news!!!!

LOL!! Immigration officers should not care about our anniversaries or birthdays or any sentimental things. They are supposed to be objective and rational. All they care about is Who are you?, what baggage (criminal, medical, etc.) do you already have? What are the pros and cons of letting you in? That's it.

May I ask, which date in September? I applied for my wife on September 14th, it's still in process. CIC account says additional documents are being reviewed. No change from last 2 months.
