No, I applied online for visitor visa. They haven't made a decision on it yet. We didn't send the passport, that will be done after the DM on visitor visa.

Have you tried ordering GCMS Notes? or emailing NDVO about the status of your PR Application and Visitor Visa Application? I am thinking of applying for Visitor Visa for my husband if no one hears anything by the end of November on this Forum. Not sure what NDVO has been doing for the past month and a half; every other Visa Office is giving out DM'S and PPR'S.

Once they took 75 to make decision on my TRV and at the end they refused. Another time, they took 30 days and then refused.

I personally feel definitely the NDVO have some quota of no of Family PR they give... this year they cleared most of 2016 applications and some 2017 files..
Else i dont see a reason from last couple of months no much movement apart from few...

They should atleast send out emails for ppl crossed 7-8 months giving time frame when they gona process...

Different reasons different times. Ties to canada, Ties to home country, etc!!

Sent a case specific enquiry to NDVO on visitor visa a month ago, no response. Ordered notes earlier in september, before BGC was in progress. There was no adverse information on that one. Ordered again last week, will see what it says once I get it.

For NDVO, it's usually 1 week (after you receive file transfer email from CPC-Mississauga).
